There is no You-Tube record of the event.  No one was quick enough to pull out the camera, and the participants were not inclined to re-enact.  But all agreed, in retrospect, that there several good ideas at work.  However, these ideas did not work together very well.

Good idea 1.  Because the basic Easy-Up canopy tends to hold water when it rains, it is important to keep the fabric taut.  And the best way to do that is to tie the Easy-Up frame to some solid, nearby object.  Like a car.  Good idea.

Good idea 2.  Because the ground is very wet, and in all likelihood will become more so, it might be a good idea to spread a heavy ground cloth, like sheet plastic, under the tent.  And a good place to purchase that might be Wal-Mart.  And with a car near by, a quick jaunt into Wal-Mart could not be easier  Good idea.

And the outcome proves?

Good Idea1 + Good Idea2 = Bad Result.

But the ultimate outcome gives Camp Brigadoon a K-State Easy Up and a new piece of sculpture,
