As in years past, on Thursday, Land Rush Day, Dave and Trish, the noble scouts, established Camp Brigadoon.  They were soon joined by Ken and Martha, and Chris and Stephanie, and Pat and Marilyn.  And then the camp annex, the Gazaway's arrived.  And it was good.  And the beer popped open.  And the banjos appeared.  And the rain continued.

So when did the "adventure" start? Some say it started a week earlier, when the rains fell upstream.  Some say it started when the stakes were first planted at Brigadoon.  But some say it started with the event entitled, "Tying your car to the tent so that you don't lose it."
