Everybody finds some special magic at Brigadoon. Here are some examples: |

My favorite moment was during one iteration of "Cornbread and Butterbeans" playing in the
Ukejam/Clinic. It was when, magically, after about 6 minutes of playing those 2 chords it just clicked for everybody and we fell into a groove. The sound of all those ukes (20?) sounded almost symphonic.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the ukulele shenanigans this year - mmmmmwaaaahhh! - Bob Colloday

The most memorable moments for me this year was the introduction to our campsite and Winfield of OUR
GRANDSON, RILEY. He shows some interest in the guitar, even the flute, and most importantly, in the banjo (just a little). The most technically interesting event was the introduction of the new, soon to be famously
popular, Sousajo, as contributed by it's proud inventor, John, from next door to Brigadoon. Maybe next year, there will be a Sousajo marching band to rival the uke band Pat Harris |

Another amazing gathering of absolutely wonderful folks from all walks and all ages,
joining together to enjoy each other's friendship, community and spirit, through a commonality of sharing and music - oh and the workshops, stages and other Walnut Valley Festival stuff was also good. Take care!

PS: And regarding, "...whatever Mike did to the girls that resulted in their clothes becoming turned around." All I can say is, "I did not know those women, I had never seen them before, I stand innocent." |
